Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete competing for UFC. UFC at the flyweight division, is currently a Kyrgyzstani. She is also the older sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ as well as co- UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas in her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko started career-long MMA profession in the year 2002, with an impressive win against Anara Baanova, during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. Following the league's dissolution in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera using knees. Antonina took the UFC deal following her win. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi on a split decision. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her subsequent three bouts. She beat Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
